Threadworms are the most common worm infection in the UK and are nothing to be embarrassed about. Through the Wales Common Ailments Service, we can treat the whole family free of charge.

Symptoms:

Intense itching around the bottom, especially at night
Disturbed sleep and irritability in children
Visible tiny white threads in stools

Treatment at Knights Pharmacy:

We provide mebendazole for adults and children over 2 (or piperazine as an alternative). Everyone in the household must be treated simultaneously. We'll advise on essential hygiene measures.
